The 22' rope allows you to work your horse at longer distances, as well as allow the untrained horse to "drift" away from you without pulling the rope out of your hands. This durable  rope product will stand up to rigorous use, featuring a 2" stainless steel ring  attached to the splice and a removable, heavy-duty carabineer clip attached to the ring. The Bum Saver is an exclusive item offered by Equine Connections. This wonderful product makes  any saddle comfortable, and it gives the rider a secure seat as if you were riding in full seat breeches or chaps. The outer covering of the Bum Saver is suede so that the pad doesn’t slide on the saddle, and neither do you! Most "Seat Saver" type products are made with a fabric underside which encourages the pad to slide against the saddle. This is THE BEST bareback pad on the market! We can say this because we have personally tested 11 of the top sellers, including Parelli’s©. The inner core is made from layers of lightly quilted medical felt to prevent the horse’s back from becoming sore, and it will never "memorize" your seat.  The outer covering of the bareback pad is made of high quality, color-fast suede, that acts like Velcro. The under side of the pad is made of a breathable, waffle neoprene, to prevent any slippage of the pad.  Most bareback pads slip and slide. The reason they do this is that most of them have their own girth attached to the pad, and this girth cannot be cinched tight because of it’s design. This is extremely dangerous for the rider! The "Ultimate" bareback pad uses your own girth (dressage or western), which allows the pad to (pictured English style)                            remain secure, because it cinches tight - just like a saddle. Another dangerous design of bareback pads are stirrups! Stirrups provide a false sense of security to the rider, and they don’t allow the rider to achieve the proper position. This handy piece of equipment allows you to ride with your 12' rope or mecate, in the event you need to use it. They are stamped with the  Equine Connections logo, and it attaches to the front d-rings of any saddle so that your rope stays out of your way by  chain-braiding it through the mecate keeper.
