I feel great that I jumped right in with this clinic as soon as I got her, before I had even more “issues”.  Because if I hadn’t, I would still be looking at her in the pasture wondering what to do and feeling frustrated.  I can’t explain how grateful I am.

I had an “Aha” moment when I didn’t have an agenda to actually inject worming paste into my horses mouth, but it happened in the end.  The more I play the games, the less I look at them as a chore or “to-do” list - they are becoming more fun for me.  Thanks for all your support and sharing of knowledge.

How can I ever thank you all for your support and encouragement?  Wow - do I feel blessed to have met you all.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I’ve had my PMU horse for 2 years, and today was the first day that I have had his feet trimmed.  The farrier said he was the most “well behaved and cooperative” horse he has ever worked with.  Thank you for all your efforts.  I think everyone who adopts a PMU or rescue horse should know about you!

You’re the best!  Thank you for everything you taught Maranda.  You look like you become “one” with horses.

After decades of dealing with ponies and draft horses, I ended up with a thoroughbred mare.  I realized I needed professional help before she or I got hurt.  Although the idea of traveling 3 ½ hours one-way was almost more than I was willing to do, it was worth every second of traveling.  My mare rushed around the round pen, neighing at her stable mates and paid little attention to me.  Her disrespect and insecurity made her scary to lead to and from the round pen.  Her heat cycles in the spring made her disposition even worse.  She kicked the wall at dinner time, and lifted her leg threatening when I walked around her.  After finishing the Level I program with Lisa, I can now walk, trot and canter her in the round pen . . . bridle less.  I have jumped 2-foot jumps in a bareback pad and lead rope and halter, and I had more control than I did with a bridle.  I am much safer and my horse is much happier.  Trailer loading was always tricky.  I used to load her with another horse on the trailer first, but the problem escalated where I couldn’t trust that I could get her on, even with help.  Lisa tackled even this problem.  Lisa worked with her until she could load herself.  Lisa showed me the technique to continue the work at home and I can now load her anywhere by myself.  Mona and I have a bright future together thanks to Lisa.  I recommend the program to anyone who would like to better their relationship with their horse, whether it’s a safety issue or just one of enjoying each other on a different level and doing something fun together.
